DOODLE HEARTS
Aug. 7th, 2007 11:31 pmEvery once in a blue moon, a tiny little throw-away acting performance charms the bejeezus out of me. It could be a small role in a film or tv show, or a brief aside in a commercial.
This time,
fidgetcub noticed it first, in an ad for JC Penney. Not only is the spot directed with style and subtle humor, the beautiful little girl in the silent lead role is one heck of an actor.
Every single tiny little look she gives is a flawless piece of sweet, heartbreaking comedy (especially her final, smitten little smile), and makes the spot almost unbearably charming. Whoever she is, I hope she has a long, decidedly non-Lohan-esque career ahead of her.
