VEGAS, BABY!

In a last-minute turn of events, me and fidgetcub have been invited to Las Vegas next week by some friends. They've gotten a big suite for the whole week to celebrate a birthday, and asked if we wanted to tag along and stay with them.

Jason has a rare extra day off on Monday (in addition to his usual Tue/Wed "weekend"), and I decided to use some of my vacation days. This will be our first real "vacation" together in god knows how long.

We fly in Sunday night 2/25, and return home early Thursday morning 3/1. At the moment, we've got plans to see some shows, and probably some birthday shenanigans with our hosts -- otherwise, we'll probably do a lot of walking around, various spa treatments, and eat and drink ourselves silly.

GAY BANTER

The gang went to Outfest Wednesdays at the Egyptian Theater last night to see moroccomole's hilarious 80-minute presentation based on his book, 101 Must-See Movies for Gay Men.

No, we didn't watch all 101 movies, only clips from a few dozen. But they were all doozies, with the 'mole's usual hilarious Witty Gay Banter (tm) between clips to keep things going. He's so in his element doing it, too -- it's a wonderful thing to watch. Buy the book already, damn you!
