The utterly delightful and hilariously dry Douglas Coupland had a reading tonight of his newest book, "jPod", at Dutton's Books, and I went along with fellow über-fans
moroccomole and
fidgetcub.
I was already a big fan, but from now on I intend to be a total sycophant. He's charmingly scatterbrained and nerdishly focused at the same time, and is more personable and friendly than he really needs to be. A complete delight.
Plus, thanks to
moroccomole's presence (and his recent interview with Mr. Coupland in The Advocate), we got some lovely face-to-face chat time with him while he signed our books.
Squeeeeee!
