SAFETY WARNING
Feb. 12th, 2006 03:44 pmMy sister-in-law went into labor this morning. I'm with my brother at the hospital -- she's comfortable and probably a few hours from delivering.
I didn't know that nowadays, the labor/delivery/recovery all happens in the same room... and the room is more like a hotel than a hospital, complete with comfy chairs for us and a reclining chair to sleep in for dad, all in soothing Kountry Kolors and floral prints.
I also found this warning sticker in the adjacent bathroom quite humorous. It seems to say: "Pregnant Women Should Refrain From Bathing While Attached To Electronic Equipment!"
