Last night, Dave He'd borrowed it during production last year for a few shots with his actors, and needed to do some additional "Miami Vice"-style inserts while driving around Sunset Blvd. and Hollywood. So, his cinematographer Ivan got a big suction-cup mount, stuck an HD camera on my hood, and we got some really cool shots -- none of me, of course, just the hood and the side mirrors and the glitzy background whizzing by.
This is actually the third gay-themed independent film that my car has been used in. Soon it'll be asking for premium gas, and special parking -- thank god my car is too old for Bryan Singer.

A great piece on the fifteenth anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death by Jeff Gordinier, author of previously-pimped-in-this-blog "X Saves the World".I'm not even much of a Nirvana fan, and it's still worth a read.
