IN DEFENSE OF PROCRASTINATION

I'm experimenting with some online streamlining.
I really wish there were better import tools for LiveJournal into Facebook. I don't plan on giving up LiveJournal entirely, as I prefer it for long-form posts and writing, while use Facebook more for immediate sharing of videos, links, and short, stupid fun stuff -- but I like having my long-form content end up in Facebook as well, since I have a bunch more friends from the "rest of my world" there (school/family/work/etc).
The problem is, the built-in Facebook "Notes" app fairly sucks. The blog importing function strips the original post's formatting entirely, so graphics and links don't show up.
So now I'm trying a few options. "Blog It" is a Facebook app (used to post this entry), so I'd post from within FB and it would cross-post to LJ. I'm also trying out Pixelpipe and Ping.fm, which are both distribute posts and pix to multiple online services (Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, etc) from one posting source.
We'll see how it goes.
