It's rare when it happens, and even rarer when it happens twice from the same band. The first time I ever heard Somwhere Only We Know by Keane, it welled up a surge of emotions at just the right time, with just the right soaring, swooning sentiment, that to this day, I still almost burst into tears every time I hear it. Their latest album doesn't disappoint, and the title track hit me like a ton of bricks on the drive home tonight.
"This life is lived in perfect symmetryIt's right where my heart and head are at right now, with nearly everything in life -- love, politics, work -- and as I sang along at the top of my lungs, all was well in the world. Enjoy.
What I do, that will be done to me
As the needle slips into the runout groove
Love, maybe you feel it too."

Since the holidays are coming up, I'm pretty sure a lot of us will be playing some new video games and perhaps teaming up online. To facilitate that, I've put all of my console game IDs in my LJ profile for easy reference. Feel free to do the same, and if I'm not already connected to you on your particular console, feel free to post your info in the comments here. Game on!
