PEACE AND QUIET

I'm working from home today. Light Classical on the stereo down low, windows open for a breeze, curled up in sweats on the couch with my laptop. Ahhhhh. I love the energy of my hectic cubicle-centric office space, but I also love that I work with people who understand the need for quiet working time away once in awhile. Yay!

GOODBYE POLAROID

It was announced February 8th that Polaroid will suspend production of all Polaroid film as of 2009. The end of an era, folks.

I still have my dad's awesome old SX-70, and still use it occasionally (I even saved a couple of single-use flash-bars). Thankfully, some nerds in the Netherlands over at unsaleable.com are actually making new film for the SX-70, so I've snatched some up before it, too, becomes a scarcity (they have a staggering array of refurbished vintage cameras and accessories, as well).

VALENTINE'S EVENING

Stopped by moroccomole & djmrswhite & bodyrot's for their annual Chocolate Party, and then went for a lovely Valentine's dinner with fidgetcub at the always-great Bistro Provence.
