"RUNNIN' A LITTLE BIT HOT TONIGHT..."

Last Friday night, I trekked out to Long Beach for an evening of sizzling karaoke at the glamorous Broadway bar with Bob bobaloo, Buck popebuck1, Matt xxtapemakerxx, and Matt's awesome gal pal Audrey.

As you may have already seen in Bob's journal, I rocked the house with "Killing Me Softly". However, I managed to capture everyone else's performances for posterity as well... please enjoy these video highlighs from scintillating renditions of:

SEATTLE-BOUND

I'm headed to Seattle this weekend, staying with John bearpiper on Fri/Sat/Sun nights, going home Monday morning -- and hopefully catching up with some of you other Northwest denizens, too! Here's what I have planned so far, for anyone who wants to tag along:

FRIDAY NIGHT - I get in kinda late (around 10pm), but perhaps we'll go out for an adult beverage somewhere, or grab a late burger at Dick's...

SATURDAY - going to the Skagit Valley Highland Games, to see/hear John's mad piping skillz and take in the celtic goodness.

SUNDAY - possibly brunch, possibly some shopping, and definitely going to the Seattle Center and EMP to see the Disney Music exhibit that's going on through September, which I'm very excited to see.

Also, dinner plans for both nights are currently wide open -- anyone free to meet up? Suggestions? Perhaps grab adult beverages afterwards?
