WHO NEEDS THE KWIK-E-MART? I DOOOOO!

If you haven't heard already, twelve 7-11 stores around the country will be converted into Kwik-E-Marts as a promotional stunt for The Simpsons Movie, while the other stores around North America will sell Simpsons-themed treats during the month-long promotion, like Buzz Cola, Krusty-O's cereal and Squishees, the slushy Slurpees knockoff.

Jason fidgetcub went to the one here in Burbank last night, and brought home a six-pack of Buzz and a box of Krusty-O's. I'll be going later this week to get my own photos of the place, but until then, you can find some great pictures that have been posted to Blogspot and Flickr.

I think it's rather genius that 7-11 gets the joke and is, in essence, parodying themselves.
