GAY DAYS @ DISNEYLAND

GAY DAYS at Disneyland is about two months away -- and as usual, I've booked a hotel near the park to stay over Friday/Saturday night. We usually check in early on Friday, peruse the parks a bit that afternoon (before the crowds show up the next day), and do pizza and movies in the hotel room Friday night for dinner (or sometimes a trip to the Blue Bayou on Friday night, instead of fighting the inevitable Bayou crowds on Saturday).

This year, it's the Howard Johnsons Anaheim, which is literally across the street from the park, and has a pool and jacuzzi that can be soaked in while watching fireworks! There's a special rate for that weekend, fifteen percent off the rack rate (we got a park-view, dual-queen-bed room for 122/night, normally 144). It's a pretty good deal, especially considering it's one of the closest hotels to walk from (and one of the few places that is close to the park that still has rooms left that weekend).

If anyone wants to join us, book your rooms by calling the HoJo's directly and asking for the GayDays or Kingdom rate. Rooms are going quickly all around the park -- so book soon if you're thinking of going!
