GUIDED BY MICE
Mar. 7th, 2006 11:36 pmSince Disney wasn't making nearly enough in the vacation travel market at just their own theme parks, they've now gone into the lucrative Adventure Travel planning business.
I'm sure there's a market for this (since most adventure travel tours are geared towards adults, not families), and they'll certainly be high-quality and worth every penny. But I hate to think what Disney's marketing, budgetary and political muscle will do to smaller, locally-based tour companies.
Just think -- world travel without that pesky local color!
