For all my CA peeps who haven't yet voted (via absentee) and are planning to vote in in person on Tuesday's election (you *are* going to vote, aren't you?)...

1.) If you're wondering where your polling place is, you can easily find it online.

2.) If you need some brief evaluations of the issues that are up for vote, you can read the endorsements from the local liberal rag, the L.A. Weekly.

ORLANDO TRIP / ATLANTA QUESTION

This coming week (Wed 11/9 - Sat 11/12) I will be in ORLANDO with bearlesque for the LDI convention. I'll be pretty swamped, but we'll also be doing some park visits while in town. Hit me up if you are going to be around and want to hang out.

The following week (Tue 11/15 - Sun 11/20) we'll be in ATLANTA for the IAAPA convention. On Thurdsay night, I'm planning a late dinner for a group of co-workers (15-20 people) -- thinking about DISH (one of my favorites in town -- and in the country, for that matter), or CHERRY, or SYLVIA'S... any local Atlanta folks want to recommend any other possibilities? I'm looking for a place that A.) will serve late, around 10pm, B.) has a bar/lounge we can meet in beforehand, and probably stay in a bit later after dinner, C.) isn't horrifically expensive, and D.) won't scoff at (or worse, charge in advance) for a group of our size. Any thoughts?
