GAY DAY 2004
Oct. 4th, 2004 02:34 pmYet another GAY DAY has gone by -- there was a much lower turnout this year (and too many dumb overpriced dance parties, which we mercifully skipped) -- but I actually had the best time I've ever had at the event, due to the addition of my niece and nephew!
As they tagged along I was reminded not only of why I'm the luckiest uncle in the world ('cuz they're super-cool and smart and well-behaved and fun to be around), but also reminded of the amazing men I get to call my friends, all of whom made it a very special "family day" for the kids and for me. Special thanks to
animbear and
redbeardedblond for so readily acting as surrogate uncles.
