Kissy-Face!

Was persuaded (by a cocktail or two at SideTrax) *not* to take the Sunday night flight home, but instead to hang with the boys for an evening of chatting, kissing, meeting cute new Chicagoans to bring into the fold, drinking, post-drinking karaoke, more kissing (living up to umkinda's credo of "Make Out More in 2004"), and hoarding enough White Castles to feed a small army.

Lest us not forget, the evening's debauchery was inspired by the birthdays of gyvyr and chifurbuddy. And what's a better birthday present than a friendly game of pass-the-ice-cube? I can't think of one.

Thanks as always to the gang (chigarbear, sugarlipps70, richie741, murphy) for their endless warmth and hospitality. You are all so quick to offer your friendship and shelter, and in return I am lucky and grateful.

After a belly full of gooey White Castle goodness, I crashed for a few hours on a super-comfy guest bed, arose at some ungodly hour to hop a taxi to the airport, and slept the sleep of the dead on the plane. Landed just in time to get to work by 9:30am.

Damn, it's kinda warm in LA today, isn't it?
