Catching up on photo uploads...

Here's some pix from the Beijing National Stadium, aka the "Bird's Nest", from a visit in the sweltering heat of August 2010.

It's an impressive design, even if it is sort of falling apart. Equally impressive is the runway-like promenade of the Olympic Green running alongside it -- it's massive, you can't see the ends when standing in the middle, just a giant swath of concrete that can hold millions of people (or a few dozen 747s).

And remember, "The Grass Is Smiling At You. Please Detour."

Check out the teaser for the stereoscopic 3D short I wrote for the 2011 S.F. 48-Hour Film Project. If you have Anaglyphic (Red/Cyan) 3D glasses, put them on!

The film will screen this Wednesday night in SF; we'll also be posting the full film online after the screening!
