Each volume contains four postcards that subscribers receive one by one, once per week, for one month. Each postcard features an image and a few lines of text created by two artists -- and the full set of four postcards is a full story.

TODAY I DIE

Using a few words and simple, exploratory, but very poetic gameplay, Ludomancy has created some of the most interesting play mechanics around. They're more interactive fiction than game, really -- and even though they're only a few minutes of play each, they're quite beautiful and memorable.

All of them are great, but my favorite is his latest, Today I Die.

Any gamer who quotes Italo Calvino as one of his inspirations has got to be pretty interesting.
