The widely-smiling bride below is my pal and co-worker, Fri from Cameroon, and she is teh awesome. She and hubby Phillip met on eHarmony (I know, I know), and they're running a contest for "Most Inspirational Couple of 2008", and if they win, they get an awesome vacation.
I know, eHarmony is all anti-gay and stuff. I know, 2008 wasn't a banner year for the institution of marriage and us gays are allowed a little resentment. You could spin this a zillion political ways.
But, Fri is super awesome and hella-gay-friendly and deserves to win over all those other eHarmony losers. Plus, her story is pretty cool. All you have to do is click here then scroll down to where it says "Vote For This Couple" then click again. You can vote once a day from each browser.
